I feel it's my calling in life to help educate and support the extraordinary men, women, and children who have been diagnosed with cancer. It is my experience that, initially, many of these wonderful individuals lose hope. However, through faith, education, technology, and a healthy lifestyle I have witnessed miracles happen in the lives of my dear patients and friends who were once stricken with this terrible disease. I am such a stronger supporter of Agape Ranch because I believe the men and women involved with this organization embody this holistic approach to healing. I am honored to be part of the team.
Ms. Bezoni is a registered oncology nurse and a certified diabetes educator. She graduated from Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa with academic honors and is currently employed by The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, one of the top ten cancer centers in the world.
Ms. Bezoni is involved in all stages of cancer care, from the initial diagnosis to treatment, remission, cure, and palliative care. Barbara says her favorite part of being a nurse is working one-on-one with patients and getting to know them and their families as real people. She understands the fear and challenges involved with a cancer diagnosis and is recognized by her peers as a compassionate and competent source of support and education for the patients and their families during this challenging time.
Barbara Bezoni is married and has three children and five grandchildren.

I love the way the Ranch incorporates the very things cancer survivors need most. They come with their personal support system, add in the support of
the Ranch staff, spend time in a beautiful, peaceful, and spiritual environment, and leave having learned new skills to help them as they continue their journey to recovery.
A graduate of Whitman College (B.A in Biology) and the University of Washington (M.S. in Nutrition), Ms. Gill is a dietitian who has worked with cancer patients in a variety of settings over the past 12 years. As part of the clinical staff at the University of
Colorado Hospital and a member of the American Dietetic Association, she has worked on the bone marrow transplant and oncology units, as well as in outpatient clinics.
In those roles and through Colleen’s private practice, she has developed classes to help
cancer survivors sort through the research and translate it into simple changes they can make in their daily routines. By helping each person learn the skills they need to master their personal nutrition goals, Ms. Gill hopes to help patients regain a sense of control in their own lives and make a commitment to being part of their own recovery plans.
Her husband Ron is a microbiologist, and they are the parents of three children: Ryan, a lawyer, Stephanie, a business major, and Jonathan, an oboe player at the Denver School of the Arts. While work adds meaning to their lives, Colleen and Ron believe their true foundations lie in their families and faith.
